Dieting support is a great weight loss solution

Social relationships shape our lives and also our health, believe it or not. Your health is helped by the everyday support you receive from family, friends, and colleagues. But there are two sides to this; your own health gets a boost from giving support to others too.

Not surprisingly, dieters also profit from the phenomenon of social support. The 2005 Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology reported that people are more successful at losing weight when they do it with a partner who is also losing weight. Other benefits of weight loss with a partner are a greater likelihood of sticking to your weight loss diet plan, and then maintaining the weight you lose.

Dieting support partnering, as you can see, makes a big difference. So here’s our Question of the Month for you…
